About Us

 

The Getting It Together group for Alcoholics Anonymous  was organized about 26 years ago and has met in the same room for all these years.  Many of the early members of the group still attend today. 

For some time now, many of us have met at a local Diner called The Park Place Diner where we laugh, have fun, torment our waitress and solve the problems of the world.  Just a word of caution though…...She doesn’t like being called “The Waitress”, she prefers Beverly, and she really is a natural blond…..again.

A big portion of the strength our group has comes from the friendship found within our walls.  Well, that and the bi-yearly business meetings we hold.  We are a fun group that take path to sobriety seriously, because as you know, for many of us it can mean life or death.  But who says you can’t have fun while you are getting sober? 

So, why not join us for our meeting when we return?
